Trade Binding
We do trade binding for printers all over the UK. Whether it be your yearbooks, softbacks or hardbacks with foil we can do it all. Please see below how to supply your print and a basic price calculator for the standard types of books we bind.
HOW TO SUPPLY YOUR PRINT
Hard Case Covers
These should be printed 120gsm to 150gsm so they are flexible enough to wrap around the boards. We need 15mm bleed on each edge. We would recommend laminating the sheets so the ink doesn’t crack or rub off when wrapped over the boards. YOU MUST supply the covers flat so they feed well on our machine. Inners - Hard case pages
The grain direction must follow the spine direction so the spine is strong and durable. The blocks should be printed on larger sheets as collated sets with a divider/separator at the end of each set. Please leave a minimum of 5mm between each image on the printed sheet
Perfect bound - Covers
We require 3mm bleed on all edges and the paper weight must be between 200gsm to 350gsm (we cannot bind 400gsm covers). You can check your soft back cover artwork here here
